Ray White Retail is a new specialist retail agency and consultancy business within Ray White, Australasia's largest real estate group.
In a relatively short period of time they have assembled an impressive list of notable clients that include Woolworths Ltd, Queensland Rail, Meriton, Deicorp, Century Funds Management, Hunter Land, and BB Retail.
In recent months Ray White Retail have secured the appointment of eight retail project leasing appointments including the retail component of Canberra Airport (40,000 of retail space with further expansion potential) to be anchored by Costco's third Australian store. Shopping Centre industry veterans Bob Walsh and Bill Kanellopoulos based in Sydney, have combined with longstanding Ray White retail sales identity Andrew Schmidt.
Bob Walsh and Bill Kanellopoulos have over 50 years industry experience and have been involved in over $2 billion worth of a wide range of retail developments, identified a need in the market for a specialist retail leasing consultancy. Andrew Schmidt will provide an enhanced sales and acquisition capability nationally, based on his extensive major sales track record, and also build up the Ray White Retail business in Queensland.
The company will provide leasing, sales, development consultancy and management. In addition to direct ownership by the key executives, arguably another major point of difference Ray White Retail has over the larger agencies is retail development expertise unequalled outside of the major property trusts.
